Steve Alvarez is a teacher, choreographer, artistic director, and co-founder of the Latin dance school Fuego Latino (Laval, Quebec). As the artistic director of the Fuego Latino troupe, he has been part of several dance companies in Montreal and participates in events alongside internationally renowned artists. He competes in cities such as Montreal, Toronto, Calgary, and Miami, among others. His passion for dance and his vision of spirituality within it inspired him to co-author this book.

Louise Lafortune Ph.D. is Professor Emerita and Associate Professor at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR) and Visiting Professor at the University of Holguín (UHol, Cuba). She is the author of several books and scientific articles focusing on the affective and metacognitive dimensions of learning and on sociopedagogical equity. Her Latin dance classes and participation in competitions led her to co-author this book.
